AbbottWMM Wanda Age Group Championship Qualifier
For the fifth consecutive year, the 2025 Life Time Miami Marathon 
has been selected as an official qualifying event for the AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championship.
The Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) is a series of six of the largest and most renowned marathons in the world. The spread of the marathon events selected for the Abbott World Marathon Majors Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Rankings (like the Miami Marathon) helps create a truly global series and a new era of age group marathon running. Around the world, runners compete in these qualifying races for their chance to earn points based on their age, time and gender, and in turn, qualify for the World Championship.
In January 2024, two Miami Marathon runners qualified to compete in the 2025 AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championship, being held at the TCS New York City Marathon on November 3rd.
The qualifying period for the 2025 AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championship runs from January 1–December 31, 2024.
